Can I bring my partner/friend into the room to watch?

The answer to this is “no” and we have our reasons. Another person in the room can distract our esthetician and we feel a friend/partner can make an already anxious first-timer more nervous.

Why don’t you trim for clients?

Hygiene. We have the AC on during the day and the last thing we want is pubic hair all over the floor. We understand other establishments provide this service. We just don’t want clients to leave with other peoples’ hair on their feet/socks. Our State Board also prohibits it.

When can’t I wax?

We cannot wax you if you fall under any of the following categories:

  1. You are using any Retinol products i.e. Retin A, Renova, etc. on your bikini line or brow area.
  2. You are taking Accutane or other strong medications for acne.
  3. You have any kind of sunburn, laser burn, pustules, or breakouts on the area to be waxed.
  4. If you have type 1 diabetes please let us know as we may need the all-clear from your doc. If your bottom or other private parts are not presented to a Waxologist ship shape and Bristol fashion, that body part is not deemed sanitary and a Waxologist will not wax you. Hygiene is next to godliness and we don’t want to put you or ourselves at risk. In other words, wash thyself thoroughly before coming in 🙂

We ask that you discreetly disclose any and all medical conditions you have before we wax you, especially any STDs. Also, please, please freshen up before your appointment. Although we always prep the skin with an antiseptic before we wax, we cannot apply wax to skin with any debris on it. We like to run a clean ship!! In Culver City, we follow the rules of the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. In Seattle, we follow the Washington Administrative Code (308-20) under the jurisdiction of the Washington State Department of Licensing. Our procedures are the same in California and Washington.

What kind of depilatory wax do you use, and is it sanitary?

We use our proprietary Queen Bee Garage Wax, a soft, warm and gentle wax. We designed this high quality wax to bind to unwanted hair on the body and not to the skin. It contains natural products, no honey or nut oils; is not tested on animals and is totally vegan. The titanium dioxide found in Queen Bee’s Garage Wax leaves a beautiful powdery finish on the skin and is not sticky. Our wax products and procedures are entirely sanitary. We use individual disposable pots for your bikini wax. Other establishments sometimes use hard wax or a technique called sugaring. It is simply a matter of preference. We like the reassurance that the whole hair is coming up, including the bulb, and our wax allows us to see this. We have tested all different kinds of wax and we stick to the one that works best for our clients

I’ve got lots of small patches of hair on my body that bother me. Can I book?

Once you’re in the room with your esthetician, you may add some of the smaller services to your ticket as time permits.

I’m really paranoid about being aroused during my Brozilian Wax. What happens if I do?

We’re all grown-ups and Queen Bee Waxologists are trained to the max. There’s zero funny business at Queen Bee, we are professionals first. We know erections can happen due to nerves. Don’t sweat it! Truthfully, we’re not even going to acknowledge it.

I’ve tried waxing my back and chest but those areas always break out with little red and white angry spots. What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Unfortunately this is quite common, especially on men with sensitive skin or coarse hair and deep roots. Many men only break out the first couple of times they wax. Once a person’s skin gets used to regular exfoliation and hair removal, breakouts often stop. We also take many precautions to prevent breakouts: After a wax, we treat the skin with antiseptic and antibacterial products. After this, we apply an additional solution to soothe irritation. We also recommend taking home a jar of Buzz off Bumps to further prevent these little breakouts from occurring. Make sure you check out our blogs on how to prevent breakouts after a wax.

Do you wax all genders?

We wax all people. End of story. Sometimes we have to know the specific parts we’re working with so that we can match you with the best waxer. But that is the only reason we ask. All are welcome at Queen Bee!

Can I go tanning before or after a Brazilian/Brozilian Wax?

Tanning beds are recommended NEVER, even if you are not waxing, they can cause skin cancer. Instead, try one of our amazing and super safe Queen Bee custom airbrush spray tans.

Can I get a Brazilian Wax if I am pregnant?

Yes, but please clear this with your doctor. Just like waxing when you are menstruating, pregnancy can leave you more sensitive during and after your wax. Your nerves are already a little on edge and there is a lot going on in that area.

What to Expect in the Room?
  • Your Waxologist introduces themselves and you are asked to undress from the waist down. Waxologists do not leave the room.
  • All treatment tables and rooms have been disinfected and sanitized in accordance with all requirements of the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
  • Your Waxologist will analyze skin, ask if you are taking any medications that might interfere with your wax or if you are using any creams such retin A or steroids that can have an impact on your skin during your wax.
  • Skin is prepped by exfoliating and cleansing with one of QB Skincare’s Buzz off Bumps pads that helps to rid skin of bacteria, excess oils and dead skin. It will also help loosen the hairs from your follicles.
  • After your wax service, your waxologist will check the area to ensure all hair is removed. Not all estheticians are trained to or can remove a surface ingrown hair.
  • We do not spend most of the appointment tweezing stubble from shaving, although we will grab a few stubborn hairs that were too short to pull up.
  • QB Skincare’s Balm is applied to the whole area. It was designed specific to down there care.
  • Post wax information will be supplied as well as answers to any questions or concerns you might have
How to Prepare for a Brazilian Bikini Wax, Brozilian, Heathrow Express, InBetweenie or any Bikini/Mankini Wax at Queen Bee
  • Hair must be a quarter of an inch to an inch (although we would prefer at least 3 to 4 weeks of growth especially after a shave).
  • Your hair growth might be a little uneven for your first wax and that is okay, it will catch up eventually. We cannot and will not wax over hair/skin that was recently shaved. It is a waste of your time and money to arrive with hair that is too short to remove. Also, waxing over stubble can cause irritation to the follicles.
  • Hair longer than an inch? Using baby scissors carefully trim it down to an inch, not too short please! For hygienic reasons we do not trim your pubic hair.
  • Please shower/clean up before your appointment. We won’t spell it out… you catch our drift. In a pinch, wet wipes are a lifesaver. (Just don’t flush them down our toilets!)
  • Resist the urge to shave between sessions. Shaving can chafe the skin and create irritation. It also throws your waxed hair off cycle. If you are desperate, just shave the sides in a downward direction.
  • Having a warm bath or shower before your bikini wax can soften the skin, allowing for easier hair removal.
  • Gently exfoliate the area to be waxed. Gentle use of a dry brush before a wax is also helpful as it helps remove dead skin.
  • Before each wax we prep your skin with our miraculous and custom Buzz off Bumps pads that remove dead skin build up around and in the follicle, leading to an easier and more thorough wax. These pads are great exfoliators between appointments and help keep the skin hydrated and free dead skin, sweat, oil and product build up.
  • Relax! Anticipation is often worse than the actual event. Take some deep breaths. Most of our clients tell us that it was remarkably easier than they expected and our waxologists will keep you busy chatting throughout the service.
  • Take deep breaths during your wax, it relaxes muscles.
  • First the worst. We get that first timers don’t know what to expect. In my experience, a first wax can be more uncomfortable, especially if you’ve been shaving. Most of the time, people leave our rooms pleasantly relieved that their wax wasn’t nearly as bad as they expected. Every wax after the first one gets easier, especially when your hair begins growing finer and we weaken the follicle. Yes, your hair will get thinner and more sparse over time, sometimes not growing back at all.
  • If you’re concerned about the potential for pain, take a couple of ibuprofen 20 minutes before your appointment. Please do not use numbing creams, they contain chemicals that can interfere with exfoliation.
  • Beauty Therapy. (Chat sesh?) Queen Bee Waxologists are the queens of distraction and we are trained to treat every one of you with care and as individuals. We want to get to know you. By the time you’ve finished telling us your story, ta da! your wax is complete!

Booking your next appointment before you leave adds points to your Honey Jar and gives you a great prompt to come back. See you soon!

I had a reaction from a wax. What can I put on my skin to assist in healing?

Unfortunately, reactions to waxing can occur on sensitive areas of the face such as the sideburns, chin, lip, and brow areas. You must tell your Brow Bee if you are using any kind of retinol, peeling creams, or have been taking antibiotics, as these may have an adverse effect on your wax. We will always massage nourishing healing creams into your skin after a wax, but sometimes irritation can appear when you get home or even the next day. If you bump up after a wax, call us! We will probably instruct you to apply a little cortisone or witch hazel on the area. In some cases, we’ll have you come into the shop so we can treat the area. Again, we cannot emphasize how important it is to call us if you have any concerns.

REMEMBER to tell your Brow Bee if you’re taking any medications or have changed any skincare products since you saw her last.

Prep skin before any facial waxing with our famous Buzz off Bumps that contain ingredients that strip the skin of excess oils, dead skin and bacteria. Also contains soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, marshmallow root, witch hazel, oatmeal and more.

My brows are conjoined and I have antennae that are beginning to pick up police scanners. Can you help?

Our Brow Bees have an eye for what is right and natural. After a consultation, we’ll have your bad boys groomed back into place.

Check out our piece in the Wall Street Journal about male grooming

I have hairs on my ears. Can you wax that?

Absolutely. It is our pleasure to take care of that for you. We use hard or soft wax for this area.

I’m that person who over plucked when it was trending.

This is a tough one, and we see it often. Whether it was due to an overzealous waxer who gave you skinny-minnies or you just had a moment with your mum’s tweezers, sometimes brows don’t grow back. The good news is there are tricks we teach our clients such as
Dry brushing brows. Take a clean mascara wand and spend a few minutes every night gently dry brushing your brows. Why? Because many times hair follicles lay dormant and can be woken up with a little stimulation.
Castor oil is a stimulant and again applying to the sparse area after dry brushing can, in fact, help nourish your hair and perhaps promote some new growth.
We have heard success stories from people using various products that contain follicle-stimulating chemicals.

How does nostril waxing work? Why should I do it, and is it safe?

Breathe easy; we have you! We apply a “little” hard wax to a small stick and insert a couple of millimeters into each nostril. When it softens we remove. It doesn’t hurt. We want to reiterate that we do not go too far into the nostrils. You NEED HAIR in your nose for protection, but let’s also discuss the benefits of nose waxing: easier breathing through the passages (we have heard it helps with snoring), general confidence, and an ability to select finer wines and cheeses!

Can I bring a photo of a brow shape I really want?

Absolutely. We will do our very best to give you your favorite screen diva’s arches, but remember this when looking at those brows: brows are sisters, not twins. You are seeing images of people whose eyebrows are either colored in or photoshopped to look perfect. Your bone structure is probably not the same as that particular person, so coming out of it, they may not look 100% the same. We can show you how to “dress” your brows with brow color to assist in making them look red carpet ready!

I have really blonde, sparse brows. What can I do to make my brows look or become thicker?

We love a challenge! Blonde brows often appear sparser than they really are, and there are several tricks for making them look fuller:

  • We can show you how to color them using a brow powder and brush.
  • Encourage you to stimulate your brow area every day/night with a dry mascara wand and a hair stimulant.
  • Tinting with a vegetable based dye. You can also do this at home.
Possible post- wax or shaving reactions with remedies – Whiteheads

Caused when your own bacteria enters irritated and inflamed follicles. Most commonly found on the chest, back, arms, above brows, and mons area. Commonly known as “Folliculitis”, many men who shave can develop this on their faces, and some people who sit for long periods of time or wear tight clothing see this on their bottoms. Below are options for treating them.

  • Use a gentle cleanser, free of synthetics and perfumes. See QB Skincare’s Cream Cleanser.
  • Massage in a little cortisone and apply Bacitracin or Polysporin to the top
  • Apply a topical antibiotic such as Bacitracin or Polysporin, mix with a little cortisone if necessary
  • Spot treat whiteheads with a benzoyl peroxide cream
  • Wipe the area with QB Skincare’s Buzz off Bumps pad that contains exfoliating ingredients and anti-inflammatories. Use Buzz off Bumps pre-shave and pre-wax to prevent whiteheads from appearing in the first place.
  • Wipe skin gently with witch hazel to bring any inflammation down Keep area very clean

If the breakout does not clear up, please contact us.

Possible post-wax or shaving reactions with remedies – Red Itchy Bumps Red, itchy bumps

After a wax are a sign of inflammation and will usually go away pretty quickly. However, these products and steps are known to help alleviate any discomfort:

  • A soothing cool compress, but do not ever apply ice directly to skin.
  • Cortisone cream
  • A gentle cleanser followed by QB Skincare’s Naked Balm
  • Keep tight clothing and your hands off of the area
Your “down there” skin is sore after a bikini wax

Massage a very gentle, soothing balm into the area. We recommend QB Skincare’s Balm or Naked Balm, you can even use a chemical free diaper cream for relief. Apply a cool compress to the area and if necessary take an Advil or Motrin. Keep tight clothing off of the skin and do not use soaps. Your vagina has a built-in washing machine and can take care of itself. We have discussed in some of our blogs the effect that soaps can have “down there.” Since our wax is custom formulated to be very gentle on every area of your body, we recommend you not use soaps or other synthetic products described in many of our blogs.

Regardless of whether you have bumps or blemishes on your skin, if you scratch or pick a freshly waxed area, you will leave yourself susceptible to self-induced irritation and infection. A healthy routine down there is a gentle cleanse, light exfoliation and a natural moisturizer.

DO NOT SCRATCH BREAKOUTS OR TRY TO POP THEM AS THEY CAN SPREAD & CAUSE INFECTION. If your breakout does not get any better after a few days or spreads to other areas, your dermatologist might recommend an oral medication.

Possible post-wax or shaving reactions with remedies – Ingrown Hairs

We want to make sure you are always educated, especially post wax care for down there. Ingrown hairs are common in some people either genetically or as a result of shaving, waxing or other hair removal methods. We want to help prevent them and also treat them.

For clogged pores AKA “black heads” that are not ingrown hairs:

  • In a warm bath or shower cleanse the affected area with QB Skincare’s Cream Cleanser that safely clears away all dead skin build-up and debris.
  • Wipe skin down with QB Skincare’s custom-formulated Buzz Off Bumps double-sided pad to expose the ingrown. Glycolic acid helps rid the skin of products, dirt and oils allowing the salicylic acid to penetrate the pores and soften the oil build-up. Using gloves or clean fingers wrapped with tissue, gently hold down one side of the pore with one finger and roll (gently) with the other. The black head should pop out, bringing any hair that was trapped in it.
  • Wipe clean the area thoroughly with a Buzz off Bumps pad once or twice a day to prevent ingrown hairs.
  • Moisturize with QB Skincare’s synthetics free, plant based Naked Balm that safely clears away all dead skin build-up and debris.

For ingrown hairs that grow under the skin:

  • Some people are predisposed to these, even if they don’t shave or wax. Do not attempt to try to pick these out. Sometimes the body will just absorb them naturally.
  • Keeping dead skin cells and debris off of the skin is the goal! Use Buzz off Bumps exfoliating pads before bed and in the morning.
  • Keep skin moisturized with a chemical free moisturizer, we recommend QB Skincare’s Balms which were developed specially for this down there area.
For Brazilian, Brozilian, and Bikini Waxes:

Waxed skin is compromised skin, so condoms, lubricants, spermicides, bleached panty liners, soaps, and sexual activity can irritate a freshly waxed area. If you must use said products, we recommend you apply to the labia and bottom, a barrier cream such as QB Skincare’s Naked Balm or a synthetics free diaper cream. We also recommend purchasing natural, unbleached panty liners and tampons.

Before your bikini wax, your skin was prepped with QB Skincare’sBuzz off Bumps, an exfoliator with antiseptic qualities. We did our job in making sure your skin was squeaky clean when you left; it is now your job to keep it that way. If you have any concerns, please contact us immediately

For the first 12 hours after your wax, we recommend avoiding:
  • Vigorous activity, friction, sweating i.e. spinning, bike riding, running, etc.
  • Sex (for Brazilian/Brozilian Waxes only). We recommend this for first-time waxers.
  • Hot tubs, steam rooms, chlorinated pools, saltwater, or very hot baths/showers
  • Products containing perfume, alcohol, baking soda, essential oils. We don’t recommend perfumed products down there at all.
  • Tanning beds or direct sun on the waxed area.
  • Picking at your skin with your fingers or a sharp instrument.
  • Fragrance oils, bath bombs, deodorants or exfoliating products. Retinols, topical acne creams, bleaching creams, acids. Very tight clothing that holds sweat to the skin Deodorants that contain baking soda, citric acid, or essentials oils. They can burn and irritate the skin

My teen’s skin is breaking out, can they get a facial?

Hormonal changes combined with a poor diet, stress, lack of sleep and other environmental factors can wreak havoc on adolescent skin. Lifestyle changes can go a long way to improve the skin, especially alongside regular facials. Before you consider antibiotics or prescription acne drugs, come in and let us look and see if we can help. It might also be worthwhile talking with a registered nutritionist about your teens skin and how diet might be encouraging breakouts. Select our BeeSpoke Facial for your teen.

As l age, my skin is getting more dry, more sensitive, and fine lines are more visible. What facial should I choose?

As we age our hormones help dictate what our skin looks like, but so do environmental factors. Those sun loving days catch up with us, so do other vices like alcohol and tobacco. Stress and poor diet also factor into what our skin looks like. Fortunately when we reach this time in our lives, there is so much information online and professionals to help. We would suggest selecting one of our Pro Peels from our facial menu. Your facialist will choose one that is right for you and with our packages and memberships, you should be able to find something that suits you.

I have breakouts and oily skin, will a facial help?

In a word, yes. We select products designed specifically for more acne and oily prone skin. After this initial first facial with us, we might recommend one of our pro peels with LED. Choose the BeeSpoke Facial if you have acne prone skin, we can customize it as needed.

Which Queen Bee facial should I choose for my first time?

We recommend our BeeSpoke Custom Facial. During this personalized facial, a Queen Bee Facialist will ascertain what your needs are and create a customized treatment.

Weddings, formals and other special events

We want to ensure that you get the best color and results and so as with waxing, we request that you come in for a test patch before you receive your first custom airbrush tan for a special event.

I’m in a hurry and need a rapid tan. Do you have one?

Check with each location you book with. Some offer a “rapid” tan that you can rinse off after 3 hours.

My skin is dry. Can I use a moisturizer before my spray tan?

Yes, just make sure it’s water-based and apply it thinly.

I’m allergic to products that contain instant bronzers.

Please consult a physician first. Many people who are allergic to spray tan bronzers usually have a reaction to Mica or some of the other listed ingredients. You can ask for the ingredients before your service.

Can I wax or shave on the day of my appointment?

Shave the day of your spray tan using soap and water. Do not use any shaving products that contain lanolin. If you need to wax please try to wax at Queen Bee a day before your spray tan to avoid the solution from getting into your pores. You can spray tan after a wax, but only if you have had smaller areas waxed like your brows, lip or bikini line. Ensure your technician knows everything you have done to your skin before you spray tan.

How do I remove my spray tan efficiently?

Cover yourself in baby oil, leave on for 15 minutes and shower using a hot shower. Exfoliate your skin using a dry brush. QB Skincare’sBuzz off Bumps wipes are great for stubborn areas since they contain glycolic acid. This method may not remove it all but it will remove most.

How do I remove a spray tan mishap on my hands or feet?

Call us and let us know about the stain and we will help you out. A simple lemon and sugar scrub will work. Take a lemon and mix it with some sugar and the lemon will lighten and the sugar will exfoliate. You can also use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Simply dampen it and lightly buff off mishaps.

Will a spray tan stain my sheets and clothing?

No, but bronzer will transfer onto your sheets and clothing generally the first day so wear something dark and always wear loose fitting clothing too and after your appointment. If you are concerned about your bedding, change your sheets and put down a towel on your car seats.

Does a spray tan smell horrible?

We have never had that feedback about ours. It has a very pleasant cherry almond scent that slowly goes away in about 1 to 2 hours.

Will a spray tan protect my skin if I go outside?

Absolutely NOT. You will still need to use SPF when out in the sun.

Why would I want a lash lift?

If you usually get extensions this service involves less maintenance and doesn’t have the added weight and volume of extensions. It curls and lifts your natural lashes, and with the option of adding tint gives an appearance of a fuller, more lush lash. If you have sparse lashes, getting a lash lift and tint will enhance the appearance.

What do I do before a lash lift?

Take out your contact lenses. Make sure your lash technician knows if you have any allergies. Remove all makeup and mascara. Do not use an oil based makeup remover before the service.

How long must my natural lashes be?

You must have at least a 4 millimeter lash to get the service.

How long does it take?

About an hour, sometimes less. You will be lying down and your eyes will be closed the whole time. It is a very restful experience.

How long does it last?

It depends on how well you take care of your lashes. Some people report 8 weeks and some 12 weeks.

Can I use mascara after a lash lift?

Yes. Use mascara to enhance the lift. We recommend using a more natural mascara, nothing too harsh, and no waterproof mascaras.

Can I get my eyes wet, what are the rules?

NO, not for the first 24 hours and if possible, 48 hours.
No saunas or steam rooms and do not rub your eyes.
Do not sleep on your face.

Can I get a facial or spray tan directly after a lash lift?

We want your lashes to stay as dry as possible. Get your facial and spray tan the day before your lash lift appointment.

Lash Lifts

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, this service was referred to as “lash perming.” It wasn’t a service that had a high demand because of some of the more harsh ingredients and risks involved. However, with more advanced, safer ingredients and improved techniques this service is high in demand. Today we refer to this service as a “lash lif”. This treatment is designed to enhance your natural lashes and its main purpose is to curl your natural lashes.

Why do a lashliftin?

because the lashes…

When do I book a fill vs a full set?

After receiving a full set consider a mini fill in 1-2 weeks. A basic fill at 2-3 weeks. An extended fill at 3-4 weeks. If it’s been 4+ weeks or if your lashes extensions are less than 30%, please book a Classic Full Set.

Can I remove my lash extensions myself?

Lash extensions are applied using professional products and must be removed professionally to avoid pain and damage to your natural lashes.

Can I get a lash tint before or during my lash extension service?

For darker hair: There is no need for a tint before your service. The glue is black and lashes will be coated during the service resulting in a uniform look.

For very light/blonde hair: Tinting isn’t necessary, but if desired must be done at least 24-hours prior to your extension service.

Can I wear eye makeup or mascara to my appointment?

No. Lashes must be completely clean, dry and free of any residual products for proper lash extension adhesion.

Lash Extensions

This service is available at our Seattle location.

Aftercare

Please avoid:

  • Any moisture for at least 24 hours after your service
  • Rubbing your eyes
  • Picking at your lashes
  • Using an eyelash curler
  • Mascara
  • Oils
  • Waterproof or cream based makeup

Cleaning:

Cleaning your lashes daily is a must. Use your favorite oil-free makeup remover and a gentle cleanser like baby shampoo to cleanse your lashes and remove build-up and excess oils. We also recommend brushing through your lashes morning and night.

How can I keep them maintained?
  • Gently brush your eyebrows once a day to keep the hairs in place.
  • Apply a hair oil to your brows regularly to help keep them from drying out.
  • If you tend to sweat during workouts, wear a headband to protect brows.
  • Use a gentle makeup remover on the face, nothing too stripping.
Can I reverse the results if I don’t like it?

The answer is “sort of”

  • Moisturize the hairs daily by using castor oil, deep conditioners or coconut oils. Gently brush the oils into the hairs and shape hairs back into their natural growth pattern.
  • Apply warm compresses which can help the hairs.
  • Make sure you call the professional who performed the service so that they can give you more advice on solutions.
My brows are laminated, what do I do next?
  • For the next 24 hours avoid getting them wet. That includes swimming, saunas, and steam rooms.
  • Don’t touch them at all for 24 hours and avoid rubbing them.
  • Sleep on your back or a silk pillowcase.
  • Don’t wear heavy brow makeup or brow growth serums for at least 24 hours.
  • No strong cleansers, exfoliants, or products containing alcohol for the first 48 hours.
  • Sun exposure should be avoided for 48 hours after.
How long does it last?

Some laminations can last a few months, it depends on the structure of the hair.

Is the shaping and trimming a part of the treatment?

Yes

How long does it take?

Under an hour

What are the risks?
  • Over processing resulting in dry and brittle brows
Overdoing it. Only get them every 8 weeks or more. Your brow tech will base visits on your hairs strength
  • Chemical burns and skin sensitivity to the solution and/or tint
What are the pros?
  • Thin brows that look thicker, more defined and sculpted.
    Less maintenance
  • Coarse and kinky hairs are settled down
What is a brow lamination?

It’s a semi-permanent “perming” of the brows. It straightens and sets eyebrow hairs into place. It helps sparse brows look more full, defined and sculpted. A brow tint can be added.

What makes the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain different from traditional brow tint or henna?

Unlike traditional brow tints, which primarily color the hair and fade quickly on skin (1-2 days), or henna, which can last longer but requires longer processing and may carry an orange hue, the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain combines the intensity of henna with the ease of a tint. It offers up to 10 days of skin staining and 7 weeks on hair, is henna-free, and nourishes brows with natural ingredients.

Can I apply makeup over the stained brows?

After the first 24 hours, you can apply makeup over your brows, but minimal makeup is often needed due to the stain’s bold, defined look. Avoid oil-based or heavy makeup products near the brows, as they can cause faster fading.

Is the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain suitable for all skin and hair types?

Yes, the stain is designed for all hair and skin types, including sparse or thin brows, as it stains both hair and skin for a fuller look. The customizable shades and nourishing ingredients make it versatile, but those with very oily skin may notice slightly shorter skin-stain longevity.

Can I speed up the fading of the stain if I don’t like the results?

If you wish to fade the stain faster, gently wash your brows with an oil-based cleanser or use an exfoliating toner (avoiding the eye area). However, for best results, consult your brow technician for professional removal or adjustments rather than attempting at-home fixes.

What aftercare is required to maintain the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain?

To prolong the stain’s vibrancy:

  • Keep brows dry for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Avoid makeup, facial cleansers, or oil-based products around the brow area for 24-48 hours.
  • Refrain from prolonged exposure to sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, or swimming pools for 24-48 hours.
  • Avoid exfoliants, anti-aging products, or self-tanners near the brows for 2-3 days.
  • Use a brow conditioning serum, like castor oil after the first 24 hours to maintain healthy, hydrated brows.
Why does the stain sometimes appear darker right after application?

The stain may look darker immediately after application due to the oxidation process. This is normal, and the color will settle into its final shade within 24-48 hours. Avoid washing your brows during this period to ensure the best results.

How is the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain applied?

A trained professional applies the stain using a coarse, dense brush to push the product into the skin and hair for even coverage. The stain is mixed with a specially formulated Hybrid Developer (containing coconut oil and panthenol) to enhance longevity. Application takes 5-12 minutes, depending on desired intensity, and may be adjusted for an ombre effect.

What shades are available for the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain?

The stain comes in nine mixable shades: Ash Blonde, Light Blonde, Light Chestnut Brown, and six others (including medium and dark brown tones) to suit a wide range of hair and skin tones. Your brow technician can blend shades for a custom color that complements your natural look.

How do I prepare for a Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain treatment?

Before your appointment, ensure your brows are clean and free of makeup, oils, or sebum. Use an oil-free cleanser to prep the area. Avoid exfoliating, anti-aging products, or self-tanners around the brow area for 2-3 days prior to prevent uneven staining.

Can I use the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain after a brow lamination?

Absolutely! Unlike henna-based products, the Hybrid Liquid Brow Stain is safe to use immediately after a brow lamination treatment, making it ideal for combining with other brow services for a polished, long-lasting look.
